While Bitcoin has long been dominant in the cryptocurrency scene and reached a new milestone of $10,000, Ethererum is also aiming to stay in its place.

Following the last meeting of Butterin this last week in Taipei dealing with some of the biggest problems in Ethereum and suggesting how the future might shape up some amount of information has been leaked out.

Improving four areas

Buterin continued by describing the four areas where he sees a need for improvement on the current Ethereum platform. These were privacy, consensus safety, smart contract safety and scalability.

Privacy - the Byzantium hard fork has created the ability for zk-SNARK(Zcash Protocol)

Consensus safety - the recent development, ‘Casper,’ should bring solutions

Smart contract safety - Viper and formal verification can produce real solutions

Scalability - creating side chains were protocol changes can be upgraded to keep the main chain intact.

The last question is how it will survive the 'EOS' attack ?

I invest in both ETH and EOS. I think they both got a place.
