One of a mothers achievement is seeing her kids grow in to a person she wants them to be. I am proud to say that now I have an 11 year old daughter. Maybe soon she will be a teenager and I don't know if I will be equipped to be a good mother for her.
Today is my daughter's birthday, before I had her I had already imagined her while she was in my tummy. She is all I ever wanted, being a mom is indeed tough you don't have any manual to read or guidelines to follow when you become one. You just simply prepare yourself to be one.
We surprised her of a money bouquet and she was very happy to receive one. Then my son kept on asking for her sister to give her some of the money she received, as a loving sister as she is she shared her money to her brother.
I am happy as a mother that despite all the fight they have everyday she still loves her brother so dearly. In this way I felt I did not fail as a mom.
I am glad that in this simple celebration my daughter was very happy. I am contented that even I do not have much I can still let my children feel extra special on their birthday.
