Hello Philippines and hello steemians!!

Let me talk about my day with my kids, instead of spending the day at home and be a couch potato we decided to see a great view to a beach nearby.

Along the way we saw a lot of mangroves and amazed by its beauty. Mangroves play a great role in the ecosystem. Some mangroves provide essential habitat for thousands of species. They also stabilize shorelines, preventing erosion and protecting the land and the people who live there from waves and storms. That is why we must take care of our environment and the sea.

On our way to the public beach we get to ride a motor bangka, a lot of fishermen use bangka in fishing. We get to pay 100 pesos for the trip.

This is Bakhawan Paradise Beach of Cordova Cebu. A 30 minute travel from our house. The kids enjoyed swimming in the clear water. We spent 2 hours enjoying the beach and made sure to go home before low tide, coz when its low tide you have to walk back home since the bangka can not reach the area anymore. I enjoyed spending time with the kids by just spending less. I always believe that sparing time to bond with my kids is very essential. These are the things I wasn't able to experience back when I was a kid. My parents became so preoccupied with work and their life that they forgot they have kids who would want to be with them.
