DC keeps hope alive for Playoffs after defeat RR by 8 Wickets
Hello, good evening and welcome to my blog once again, it's my first time to post in this s community as i got to know yesterday. It was nice match between DC and RR where it was do or die match for DC where they able to perform their best and able to won the match by 8 Wickets and keeps hope alive for playoffs. RR looks not in mood of win this match as they did some changes and their execution were wrong which cost them lost so let discuss it in details.
DC has won the toss and chose to bowl. DC did good start as Sakriya was an excellent in his first spell where he not allow to play freely especially Buttler who is dangerous and also took his wicket which means RR pillar was gone and it's looks trouble. Everyone was expected Sanju Samson will come but Ashwin came for pitch hitting.
Ashwin played some shot in power play but then not able to play freely like regular batsman as well as also not out. Ashwin and Paddikal both approach was very defensive in middle over from 7 to 12 which cost them a lot. Though Ashwin later played some shot and scored 50 but it not allow to play there regularly batsman to get more chances to play which could help them in death over. RR only able to make 160 runs which is very low as Samson came to bat in 14-15 over which was not good for them.
In this run chase, DC lost wicket in first over and everyone thought, it will be same thing happened like GT and LSG match but then Marsh took control of the match and made good partnership with David Warner. Warner was playing supporting role as Marsh was doing counter attack and dealing in sixes. It's looks becomes easy batting pitch for them.
There were some couple of chances for them in beginning of match where close call of LBW for Marsh which they not took review and took review later on leg side wide ball which show they were not in DRS and confidential. Marsh made 89 with 7 sixes and Warner made 52 runs. It's an easy win for DC with 8 Wickets. DC dropped catches too so over all their execution was not perfect yesterday. Marsh got Man of The Match for his brilliant all round performance.
