At Birdchain we always think of our community prior to anything else. You are the ones who make Birdchain so special. That is why we are sharing the date of our ICO with you first.

ICO start: March 1, 2018

ICO finish: May 31, 2018

These dates were chosen following comprehensive and thorough evaluation of the situation in crypto markets. Our decision is supported with results of impartial analysis.

We have decided to have longer ICO period because it allows compensate bear traps of the market with bull runs. We understand that you want to see Birdchain dapp launched as soon as possible, but as it is mentioned in the first sentence — we think of our community’s best interests. Longer ICO period is much safer alternative, during these turbulent months.

If we had chosen short ICO period, we would be entirely dependant on the situation in the market. If it would be bullish — hard cap is reached, and all is good. But what if the situation of the market would be bearish and we would not reach soft cap? Thinking of our contributors we are taking all necessary steps to avoid this scenario and to protect their contributions.

Last two months have shown us that crypto market is very unpredictable mistress. It can grant you significant gains one day and deliver huge losses on the next.

The same applies to ICO market. One day can be the most perfect day for ICO, and the next one — the worst. Longer ICO period will allow us to exploit the good days and amortize the bad ones.
