Black beans with chocolate and coconut

Ingredients


  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil;
  • 6 cloves of garlic;
  • 60 g of a mixture of spices garam masala;
  • 1 tablespoon of zira;
  • 2 liters of water;
  • 450 g of dry black beans;
  • 1 chili pepper;
  • 60 g of coconut chips;
  • 2 teaspoons of cocoa.

Preparation



Preheat the olive oil over medium heat. Garlic finely chop and fry for five minutes, stirring constantly. Add the spices and fry for a few more minutes. Then add water, washed beans, finely chopped chili, coconut shavings and cocoa.

Bring everything to a boil, then lower the heat and cover the frying pan with a lid. Leave the chilies to simmer for two hours. Then season with salt and add other ingredients, for example honey, if desired. Return the dish to the stove for another 30 minutes or until the beans are ready.

If you want to cook chili in a multivark, mix all the ingredients and leave them for 6-8 hours on the "Quenching" mode.

A ready-made dish can be supplemented with pieces of chocolate or coconut.
