Coffee. Bitter and sweet. Aromatic. Put some cream or milk as you like, to add some twist in the taste. However you want it, coffee will definitely make your day. Coffee is essential to millions of people around the world because of the many benefits of the so-called universal drink.

Coffee is a drink from roasted coffee beans. It is from coffea plant that said to originate from Africa. There are two most common types that are grown: the robusta and the arabica. Robusta is the stronger type of coffee while the arabica is valued as the much sophisticated one.

In 2014, the Philippines produced 25,000 metric tons or 25 million kilos of coffee. The Philippines ranked as the 110th in the world in terms of output. Also, in the same year, Filipinos consume almost 100,000 metric tons of coffee.

It goes to show that Filipinos are coffee lovers. It is a staple to many of us. Coffee in the morning, in the afternoon or even in the evening, how convenient! Thus, instant coffee mixes is such a huge business in the country.

In my own life, coffee in the morning is one of the barometers in the relationship with my husband. No coffee in the table means one thing: I'm mad at him. A day without my coffee will leave him distraught and unhappy. And that's a fact. Now I know why, coffee can give him lots of benefits for him to survive his busy day.

im a no coffee lover... but now started drinking it lil by little, as i can feel its kick whenever im sleepy... hehehe... I was like... AHH,, Im Aliveee!! 😅😅😅
