The best way to handle a family based business
My neighbor walked in screaming at the top of his lungs," Oh, this is why I do not like to do business with family members, I know someone must have provoked him amongst other family members by messing very hard with his business. My neighbor is not the only one in this boat, some people would rather employ a total stranger to help run the affairs of the business than family members.

I also feel that sometimes, having people you can call close friends and family members helping you run the affairs of your business would help out a lot in so many ways, that can only happen when one has learned how to set specific boundaries. Imagine that you have a sister who is a very skilled marketing agency and is reputable too, would you now decide not to utilize such an important skill simply because you are trying to stay away from doing business with family isn't a smart choice to make in my opinion.
When you learn to set boundaries, you will be able to;
Reduce anxiety and stress, therefore staying away from the feeling of walking on eggshells.
Enable professional and personal growth as individuals think independently and can recognize the consequences of their choices.
Appreciate sincerely what everyone brings to the business and family dynamics.
Set very clear expectations and operating agreements.
Learn to enjoy more life at home.

We know that having a family/work relationship is basically about boundaries, and how they can be respected and developed, so in terms of setting boundaries, these tips would help out;
Start on a small level, beginning with a simple activity like choosing not to talk about business during dinner. Learning to build up small boundaries would help you develop confidence and also provide a more significant change as time goes on.
When the family is not on a business mission, look for topics that are not related to business and one that everyone can enjoy together. You can also get some lonely time to yourself, this way you can come back and tell them what you have experienced.
Be open to calling each other out when some things don't go well with you. Making the decision not to ignore an opportunity to call each other would help foster business and make it go well.

Business is dependent on agreements, within customers and business operations, but even much more within the internal circle of operations like meeting up with deadlines, and this should not be flawed anyway, so ensure that everyone takes up responsibility wherever and whenever appropriate without sentiments.
There would be no successful business where competence is lacking, so before you get any family member involved in the first place, ask yourself if you would still give that position to him or her if you weren't related.
Having a clearly defined business role is highly important, pick up a role and then stick to it staying within your scope of operation. Although not as easy as it may appear on Papper, if you are going to be effective in our business operatives, every member of the team/family needs to be effective in their roles.
Most importantly, it is important to learn how to separate family time from work time, creating some strict guidelines alongside.
Most times I don't even like to include in those things called the family issue because it always causes issues
Yeah, most people have the same opinion, but I believe it depends on the type of family members one has though.
