Being a confident person is necessary in every chosen profession, some people even get contracts worth millions simply because they have a great aura of confidence around them, but as important as confidence is, being overconfident can also be dangerous. Excessive display of self-confidence especially when it isn't realistic, can create serious issues, several problems in the life of an individual and professional setting are attached to overconfidence.

Relationships also get affected due to overconfidence, these people tend to blame their partners for everything, and sometimes, aggressive and violent behaviors are produced as a result.
Excessively confident people usually believe they are the smartest, they are the most qualified, the most informed, and in most cases they are often the least qualified persons. This person always thinks about himself alone and in the real sense of things, there are people who are much better and who have a better and stronger personality than them.
Excessive confidence could be seen as a form of deceit or even narcissism, these qualities could even make employees become less appealing to both current and future employees.
