The Zhangye Danxia landform region is known as "the sight to behold of Zhangye". Numerous craftsmen respect this artful culmination as it is incredibly vivid, similar to a n creative oil painting .

Zhangye's Danxia scene has heaps of steep red precipices, the greater part of which are a few hundred meters high, and colorful edges of weathered strata, some of the time extending to the skyline. These developments, at times smooth some of the time sharp, emerge against the greens or grays of the fields , looking great and grand, energetic and virile.
