This old house

Ah that was the problem. Clogged drain pipe, was poorly installed probably 30 plus years ago. Causing Major sag in the pipe poor drainage and buildup. Time for a change ya think. Working on a old house you start something then find something else then another and another. Argh

I bought this old house quite a few years back. And for the past 3months im finally putting in the time and work to fix it up propper. Tearing it down and rebuilding it would have been much easier...which is basically what im doing... However this house was built in the mid 1850's, newspapers in the walls used as insulation were dating back to 1851. And it was registered in 1898 as a house. its really figging old. So im really just the short term owner/caretaker in the grand scheme of things i guess.

The old sink area. Everything including the wall behind will be demolished, then reinsulated new windows and redone with new kitchen cabinets. I replaced soft spots with new plywood. Then glued and screwed the new subfloor.

I entered the crawlspace under the house. Which has two sections with foundation running through the centre. Sturdy but a bitch to work around. So I Cut and removed all the drainage and copper water pipes. The stink from the drain pipe was TREMENDOUS. 😝 i crawled out gagging. Smelling Like festering puke...I got some of it on my tshirt....You Ever cleaned a old really old restaurant grease trap? Ya it's kinda like that.

I started routing the new sink to its new spot. Using about 12ft less pipe secured and graded properly. Things should work much better. Sink in the centre dishwasher to the right cubbords above and to the left Everything will be new fresh install.
