XP90 camera for taking travel photos

if the purpose of you travel is to take pictures, then a used DSLR is a good suggestion, but if you want a camera to record your adventure, I would suggest a high quality point and shoot camera.

Costco has the Fujifilm FinePix XP90 around $170. Tough, Pocket sized and waterproof. Can be used underwater, in sand and dirt. Has 5 X Optical Zoom and that is a very good feature. Set it for double auto exposure, with and without flash. Your pictures will be as good as any expensive camera would produce under almost any conditions. I have an older model that I carry on my motorcycle and it’s what I got for my niece to use on her trips.
