✪ Contenders for the hit in the women's hall of fame poker ✪

Many people are aware of the existence of the poker hall of fame, which includes persons who have made an outstanding contribution to the development of poker. It was created in 1979 by benny Binnion, owner of the Horseshoe hotel in Las Vegas. In total, during the existence of the Hall 52 people were honored to become its members.

But not many people know that in 2008 was organized a special women's poker hall of fame — Women in Poker Hall of Fame (WiPHoF). During this time there were 19 members of the fairer sex. And, Jennifer Harman got to both halls in 2015 and in 2010.

Recently became known the names of eleven contenders for membership in the WiPHoF this year. The special Committee selected them from more than 50 nominations. All of them have been involved in poker for at least ten years and over 35 years.

Until April 15, already existing members of the WiPHoF, as well as several representatives of the poker media should choose those who deserve a high rank. Each member of the jury has 10 votes, which can be distributed at their discretion: to give them all to one applicant or to divide between several.

June 26 at the casino "Orleans" will be held a solemn ceremony of announcing the results of the vote.

The most famous of the candidates for the WiPHoF membership this year are female players: Jennifer Tilly, Maria Ho, Kara Scott.
