Can You Be a Disrupter?
If you can create a product, a service or a curative drug that changes the way the world does things, you’ll make yourself a fortune.
When the iPhone was introduced people scoffed and said, “Who’s going to want a phone with a camera in it?”
And yet - where would social media and other sources that rely on photos and videos from our phones be today without that camera in your phone?
From there was spawned GoPro and other multi-billion-dollar game changers.
And then there’s driverless cars.
A friend was telling me how he drove several hundred miles without ever touching the wheel, break or accelerator on the highway on a recent trip.
Driver free taxis and Uber cars are being tested.
Driverless trucks in mining are already a reality, and Texas has licenced the use of driverless big-rig trucks for the freeways.
If you’re a truck driver, you might want to start thinking about your future and what you’re going to do.
But understand, it’s very early days in the driverless realm, so you have some time.
The next phase will be cars and other vehicles communicating with each other as they motor down the road at high speeds. They’ll not only use the external sensors they have now, they’ll be talking to each other to avoid collisions.
Don’t think this is far-fetched.
The military is currently testing computer operated, camera carrying drones about the size of 16oz pop bottle.
These drones are launched tens or hundreds at a time with a mission to search and surveil or even destroy a target.
When these drones are first launched, they’re scattered.
Then, they begin to communicate to each other.
They form a swarm and start to proceed as per the instructions given.
These low cost (relatively speaking) drones have many uses. And not just military ones.
Think of the cameras having facial recognition software that allows them to track a criminal or a lost child.
These are all technological disrupters that will change the way the world works.
And I haven’t even talked about the amazing advances in medicine and bio-tech.
Unfortunately, we all don’t have the tech capability or are of the technological ilk to create a disrupter product.
But, there’s a silver lining my trusty reader.
You don’t have to be in order to make a lot of money online.
All you need to do is find a nice tight niche you’d like to operate in.
Create a product or sell someone else’s.
And there you have it.
A real online business that you can scale and make great.
But how?
Find your niche.
Create or find your product that will sell (disrupter or not).
From there, you create your own freedom.
Of course there’s a little more to it and I talk about that on my web site.

@bigsilver I agree technology is advancing so fast, disruptions will be even faster as time passes by. What is going on with blockchain technology is perhaps what is and what will bring the biggest disruptions. Thanks for sharing this. @gold84
I remembered you asked me about Dash the other day. It seems you have done a good investment. Here is what @haejin is predicting. If it turns right you will have great profits. https://steemit.com/bitcoin/@haejin/can-dash-reach-usd1-907-check-out-this-analysis
@gold84 - thanks on both counts! Yes, blockchain is going to be a huge disrupter. We are just at the beginning.
Thanks also for following up re: DASH - I'll take a look at the article and hold my position. :)
