Wettest October on record

in #life6 years ago

We are only half way through the month of October, and we have set a new record in Phoenix already for rain. We have had on average 4.5 inches of rain around the Valley, and have had minor flooding. This is all thanks to the last 2 Hurricanes that came through the Gulf, and have dumped a ton of moister here. Although it is great to fill up our lakes and rivers, and get us out of the drought. Getting a ton of rain in the fall, can sometimes lead to a bad fire season, if we get a ton of weeds and grass growing from it. But that is tomorrows problem, and today was a nice break from all the sun. wet-roads-drive-with-care.jpg

That's what California's problem was. They ran out of water. Then they got a lot of water which caused a bunch of weeds and grass to grow. That just got eaten up by the fires during the dry summer this year.

Stay safe!

Ya it is a never ending cycle, AL gore was right..... haha. Also stay on the look out for a bearmanpig he was talking about.

I don't know about bearmanpig. I probably just wasn't paying enough attention. I did have a friend whom I addressed as "guymandudebro." Does that count?
