but it is really annoying if you are so faithful then a woman cheated on you. The girl who do that is dirty. why just say I don't like you anymore to his husband before having a boyfriend.
I can imagine his angry and hurt by finding out this way from a stranger. Since I am not your friend, I cannot actually experience the pain he feels. Each individual take this situation differently, all I can say is move on if he believes he cannot forgive and forget her. Time will eventually heal, he just need to let go his own angry and feeling. After a while probably he can look at this differently. Sometimes thing happen for a reason and can be a blessing in disguise. Keep him in your prayers and let him know you are there if he needs a listening ear, to vent out his frustrations.

The best advice that I was ever given was that you should sympathize, understand, be there when he needs a friend, but NEVER say anything bad about the spouse. If they change their minds and decide to try to work it out then he will not see you as a friend anymore. He will probably need a place/person to hang out with. Breaking up makes a person feel like they want to go somewhere but they can't go home. It's a very lonely and helpless feeling.

I am more a make them both pay type of guy too, but that gets you know where in the end.

very sad. But whatever what will he do? you may suggest him to be patience and take time to make a good decision.
