POCHERO #FILIPINO FOOD
Pochero (Puchero) is another incredible dish that we acquired from the Spanish. It is a stew of meat, vegetable, root products and vegetables and was initially considered as worker stew (in Andalusia). This is on the grounds that the meat that was normally utilized were from least expensive (greasy) cuts from a pig, cow, and chicken and with vegetables that were in season. The Filipino Pochero is somewhat extraordinary as it has tomato sauce and it. What separates it from other tomato-based stew is that it (must) have ready plantain banana or 'saba'.
