Christmas Ghouls
Whatever happened to the tradition of telling ghost stories during Christmas? hundreds of years ago American folklore was to tell scary stories during the holiday season. The solstice and winter represented death and loss coming from Long Cold Nights into the warmth and Rejuvenation of spring. Telling scary stories, as we see in the classic Christmas Carol, was a metaphor for the winter and Christmas season. In our new age of technology and capitalism we have lost part of the tradition. Why do you think this is? Will you help to reignite the tradition of telling ghost stories during the winter? I'm interested to hear what you have to say
