Comedy was terrible in the past!

Anyone else realize how the 40s-70s no one could act well in comedy? It was just terrible! Not funny, and little skill. How that generation thought it was good is beyond me. Guess in fairness they didn't have much else!

99% of the shit that they thought was funny is just complete trash! The very fact that Time Life sells them on infomercials on DVD is more proof of how dead this crap is. So you think pretending to hit someone in the head while dressed up like a carnival clown is somehow funny to anyone over 12? Go ask any teenager they will be "embarressed" by you and laugh at YOU for thinking it is funny! TERRIBLE media back then! I like REAL comedy with REAL jokes and skits that actually make you laugh, not just feel sorry for the "actors" playing the part!
