After only 3 weeks on Steemit I have already doubled my reputation score and seen a huge amount of opportunity here! I will share with you the top 3 things I have learned so far.

1) Make sure you write good content not just a lot of it!

I have seen a few posts of mine do extremely well while the majority do very poor. Creating content that is insightful and not easily found in other places or through a simple google search will greatly help your chances as an author for snagging real up vote power!

2) Manage your Voting Power and commit 100% of rewards to your Steem Power!

Ensuring you keep your Voting Power near 100% is one of the best ways I have found to maximize curation rewards while committing 100% of rewards to Steem Power ensures your votes are always worth more each week! Voting Power and Steem Power are the lifeblood of your Steemit account so you should keep them topped off as much as possible!

3) Up vote your own content!

Many people miss out on the opportunity to receive the curation and author rewards others do that up vote their own posts. If you have something you are super proud of, up voting it yourself ensures you earn some rewards and helps grease the wheel to get your post going, lets face it a post with 1 up vote looks more attractive than 0 right!
