The next morning Luan was woken up early by his parents. 

Come on son today we are going to seal island you are really going to love it there. What is a seal he asked? 

That is what we will go and show you today. We are taking a boat out to Seal Island. We must be there early so we do not miss the boat. 

Luan jumped up brushed his teeth dressed and said, I am ready we can go, as his parents were drinking coffee and gave him a glass of orange juice. 

They left to catch the boat that would take them there. Luan could not wait to see what these animals looked like and his parents, did not help as they kept it a secret. 

All they told him was that these animals lived on this island, and there were people who will dive with them, but he was still too small to dive with them.

They told him they will watch the divers as well but the seals were the real attraction. When they got to the boat they bought their tickets and were received by some very nice people.

 As they left the harbour he looked back and saw all the lovely boats in the docks. There were people on the boat just like him who had never been on the sea, but as he looked out and saw the mountain and the sea, he realised that he did love his forest but the sea was something else he loved very much. It was so beautiful to only see the sea and mountains as far as you look.

They got to the island and he could not believe these wonderful animals. They looked as friendly  they were jumping around in the sea.  They all looked so happy just like children playing at school.

He told them that they are very intelligent animals and have been known to save drowning animals.   Unfortunately they are exploited sometimes for their intelligence as they use them as entertainers.

 Seals are also mammels and the mother has 50% fat in her milk, and that is why they grow so fast. Seals are warm blooded, and that is why they can live in different places.  They can dive up to 3000ft, and they are carnivores. 

They eat fish and seabirds, squid and shellfish.   

The most wonderful of all is that they can communicate by making clicking noises and trilling noises.

Unfortunately they are also dying because of people not keeping their debris out of the sea.

So please try and keep your oceans clean.
