LIFE OF A WIFE AND GRANDMOTHER

Today I am writing about life.

 We all realise that one fact is true and that is we only get one chance to live.

Friday while helping my grandson with his science, a funny thing happened we were enjoying it so much that we did not even watch the time. Before we knew we were so far ahead that we could stop and leave the rest for Monday.

Why am I telling you this? Suddenly I said we forget sometimes that every minute that has passed is gone forever. We will never get it back and we must use and enjoy what we have now.

He said he wished he had a time machine to go back to the past. I then asked him where he would go, and he said he would go back to Adam and Eve and try and stop them from eating the forbidden fruit.

We then started talking about what would happen if that was possible, and realised life would have not worked out well as there would be too many people on earth and where would everyone live. Then we said it would not have been Gods plan as he planned everything, and that was how he had planned this. 

So being Sunday I am thinking of how wonderful God has been to me. God gave me this wonderful husband and we had two children who we love dearly they are both perfect to us. They grew up so fast that one does not realise how time flies.

Then they got married and gave us all these wonderful grandchildren. My daughter gave us these two boys that are so well mannered and they are children to be proud of. My son first went away to the U.K. where he worked for I.B.M. We missed him but after 9/11 he decided to come back home, and what a wonderful feeling to have all your kids here in your own country again.

He got married to the most wonderful daughter to me, and they have these two beautiful daughters.  So we have really been blessed with all these wonderful children, and to me it is the best gift from God. 

We all have our ups and downs but as long as we keep our eyes on the Lord everything always works out. Not always when we want them to but in His own time. That is why he gave us the Lord’s Prayer in the bible. If we could live like that and really trust him. Time will never matter.  I cannot say that there is anything I am not thankful for, because he always stays with us all.

We must just learn to trust and pray.  But most importantly believe in Him. 

If we are able to do all these things we will have our name written in his book one day, and so will our children as we taught them from a very young age that there is only one way.

 Believe, Trust and depend on Him all the time. Thank you for reading and have a blessed day.
