Nor'Easter Time-Lapse Heavy Winds - March 2nd 2018

Without heavy precipitation this could still be considered extreme weather with winds sustained around 15-25 mph and gusts over 60mph in the local area!

Cricks and Cracks can be heard throughout the house whenever the wind howls its hardest. Everything is holding up here fine, aside from a few power surges. Living on a road that has massive pines lined about is a recipe for power issues when the ground is soggy and saturated like it is with these extreme winds. The storm brought heavy rains yesterday and into the morning, converted to snow for a bit before all the precipitation moved, and now we are left with a rotating body of air pushing Eastward and out. But all that rain before the wind... yikes! Hope everyone stays safe!

Winds equal to and in excess of a Hurricane Cat 1 storm in the Boston area are being forecast! Take heed everyone living in the path of this storm!

Aside from the wind, my improvements to the knick point at the base of the pool is working well so far with the PVC pipe as a spout of sorts. The way the water shoots out like that... I should figure a way to rig a turbine some how to utilize the potential energy being converted into kinetic as the water falls. Crazy ideas...

Enjoy the video!
