[Poem - With Recitation] That Sweet Connection

Look within my eyes and I will show you what I feel,
Through a window let you see inside, encounter who I am,
Not hiding from your steady gaze—I won't evade, I will reveal,
The me behind these eyes you see, ready for my truth exam.

And if you'll do the same for me, make your eyes an open door,
I'll take a walk inside your soul, and see what you're revealing,
As we look beyond our surfaces, and finding so much more,
We'll share that sweet connection, discovered when there's no concealing.
