CBA CFO Rob Jesudason decided to resign and started managing a $ 12 billion cryptocurrency business !!

Rob Jesudason is leaving CBA to manage Block.one, a US $ 12 billion cipher from Hong Kong but now based in Cayman Island. Block.one has 200 employees worldwide and plans to launch a new blockchain project in June.

Rob will be replaced by Alan Docherty as acting chief financial officer of the bank.
He will hold a position in Hong Kong as Group President and Chief Operating Officer of Blockchain Block.one, which is the issuer of '' EOS ''. This cryptocurrency is the fifth largest in the world with a market capitalization of more than 12 billion US dollars.

"Rob has a proven track record of success in global financial services, and his sudden involvement in cryptocurrency would have the goal of creating block-compliant, high-performance blockchain solutions at the convenience of Block.one, which marvelously concludes their ultimate quest for the ideal person to lead their empire.

Block.one is an open-source software publisher, focused on blockchain technologies.
This company is currently developing the EOSIO project, which it calls "the first successful blockchain platform for developers.''

The EOSIO project, scheduled for launch in June 2018, will be based on the DPOS (Delegated proof-of-stake) system developed by EOSIO Chief Engineer Dan Larimer.

The company is now based in the Cayman Islands and employs around 200 people worldwide.

Jesudason joined CBA in 2011 and became CFO in July 2017, just before the bank was brought to justice by AUSTRAC. Prior to that, he was based in Hong Kong as Group Head for International Financial Services.

Mr. Docherty joined the bank in 2003 and was previously the CFO of Institutional Banking and Markets.
