STEEMIT ANTIPOLO PHILIPPINES, FINALLY IM PART OF THIS GROUP
This happened last Sunday, Jan 21, 2018 at Antipolo City, Philippines.
From a friends invite I joined this meeting knowing that I am not yet approved on steemit. They were sharing different insights about this new platform and how it will revolutionalize the social media in the coming of days. Imagine your doing the normal things you do on facebook and youtube but on the side you are executing the principles of block chain. What can be more exciting than that?!. Listening to the sharing, I come across terms I heard for the first time like SBD, STEEMPOWER, UPVOTE, DTUBE ,DMANIA to name some.
Mixed emotions reigned over me. I felt excited because this entire block chain social media thing is new for the palate. I felt confuse and at the same time for I cant follow all the things they mention. I felt so much happy because, in my perspective, Steemit is the one that will showcase a persons identity. But then I also felt sad for my approval was taking so long.
With so much anxiety and excitement at the same time, I opened my gmail while on the meeting to look for my approval. To my surprise, I shouted unconsciously I saw the approval in my gmail. I hugged the person who was just beside me and I cant stop shouting. I felt my inner child burst out again and it was all because of my long waited approval which is now finally approved.
Remembering my younger days, the last time I felt that way was when I stepped into the schools top 10 of my grade level. Steemit triggers all my emotions so much
I am really looking forward for a great time here on steemit. Its a platform of encouragement, motivation and helping one another. Considering the picture, I am the last person to join this group. And I know we will grow each day. Mabuhay!!! SteemitAntipolo
