Tasteem Review, Restoran & Cafe Aramaiti Tokou

"Aramaiti Tokou" is a native Kadazan Dusun language means "Many Together" in English. Located in Donggongon Town, this is one of the most popular restaurant in the area.

The reason for its popularity is that it serves wide variety types of food from Chinese, Malay and Western, and the price is quite reasonable to my opinion. It's a Non-Halal restaurant which opens from 4.00pm to 11.00pm daily.

I normally came here with my family when we did our laundry at a nearby laundry self service shop just opposite of this restaurant. While waiting for our laundry, we will have our dinner here.

My wife ordered this Fried Rice "Kampung Style". The rice is fried and mixed with dried anchovies, salted fish, a bit of shrimp paste and bird's eye chilli for that spicy taste.

I ordered this delicious Pork Watan Mee. The yellow noodle is briefly fried in a wok (with little oil) to get that charred smell. The fried pork and vege, and thick gravy mixed with raw egg is then poured on top of the noodle. Beautifully served.

Last but not least, my daughter chose to have this Chicken Fried Koay Teow (Flat Noodle).

As for drinks, we ordered Iced Milo, Iced Bandung Cincau and a Hot Black Coffee for me. So tasty and refreshing.

If you guys happens to travel to Donggongon Town, do drop by this restaurant. Great place to hang out and enjoy your meal with either family or friends.
