Tasteem Review, New Thien Thien Restaurant

This restaurant located at Putatan is a Chinese Restaurant that serves mostly seafood. They don't serve pork or lard, which is a good decision in my opinion, as it attracts moslem and non-moslem customers.

It has two seatings area which are indoor and outdoor. Indoor are air-conditioned and the outdoor is for those who enjoys that bit of sunshine. But I guess, during the hot and sunny day, most people will prefer to stay indoor as it is more comfortable.

There are many customers inside the restaurant. The ambience is nice, the place is clean and the staffs are friendly.

There are only a few customers outside as the weather was really hot that day.

There are many fish tanks located outside, but funny indeed, most of the tanks are empty. Some only has a few fishes, and theres one tank filled with sea shells. I don't know what type it is.

Just look at those empty tanks. Maybe they haven't re-stocked those fish tanks.

This display board shows the costs of the Sea Foods per 100 grams.

Most of the customers that I saw, ordered Noodles instead. Since this restaurant is famous for its noodle soup, so my wife and daughter ordered this Vermicelli Fish Noodle Soup. It was very tasty indeed, but not much difference in texture and taste with other Fish Noodle Soup that we have tried at other restaurants.

I opt to order this Seafood Noodle in thick starchy egg gravy instead, which tasted really good. I love every bit of it.

And for refreshments, ordered this Black Hot Coffee, cool Iced Milky Tea, and Iced Milo.

My Conclusion

1. Its a good place to hang out and have a nice meal with family or friends.
2. Clean and comfortable restaurant is certainly a plus.
3. Owner and staffs of the restaurant are friendly and very attentive.
4. I'll give this restaurant 4 stars out of 5. A place that I will surely return to dine again
