Borneo Blockchain Summit READY SET GO!
After months getting ready preparing for the event, at last the day will come tomorrow. At first we expect about 200 participants but due to the overwhelming response, we now have about 300 people coming for the event. There are some last minutes changes and addition for the event, but everything managed to be settled on time.
We went to check the event venue to familiarises ourselves with the conditions and layout of the building. We were also being briefed by @veenang about our duty especially for the volunteers who handles the registrations. But we all will be working together, helping each other when required.
The event hall is actually an Auditorium that can fit 500 people, so nearly half of the seatings will be empty. But we expect more people will come tomorrow through walk ins, that is why we purposely reserved more seats. Just in case.
We were asked to take our seats as @bitrocker and @danieldoughty brief us again about our duties and what we need to expect to happen during the event. Its a big responsibilities especially for the MC and moderator to make sure that the flow of the event will run smoothly. Not to forget, the technical guys who are incharge of the slides and the audio video equipments.
Before we left the venue, @veenang took us to the location of the registration table and told those who are incharge to decide the arrangement of the tables. It'll be quite tricky as the location is outdoor but under the roof of the corridor. @joannewong was a bit concern as the weather forecasted a thunderstorm tomorrow. If it happens, we will have to go for plan B.
I really hope that everything will turn out well tomorrow. It will surely be blast. I have to rest early tonight, we will be meeting at the venue at 6.30am sharp tomorrow. Which means I'll have to wake up around 5.00am and ready to move by 5.30am.
