People accuse people of being opportunistic a lot of times, but when you take critical notice of the circumstances and situation surrounding the happening of the events leading these talks one would realise is mostly because the other party lost the opportunity. People who succeed are opportunistic because as it is said, opportunity comes once and it always works out for those who are always prepared for anything and everything. So be on the lookout for opportunities and let them not pass you by lest you accuse others of being opportunistic.
