Tasteem Your weekly choice - Restaurant Sa Soca, San Antonio, Ibiza
Yesterday I was scrolling through some old photos and found some of a Dinner we had on the island of Ibiza. Every time we´ve been on Ibiza we went into this restaurant called Sa Soca. Today it still exists and the reviews speak for itself.
Gestern habe ich ein paar alte Fotos durchgeblättert und etwas von einem Abendessen gefunden, das wir auf Ibiza hatten. Jedes Mal, wenn wir auf Ibiza waren, sind wir in das Restaurant Sa Soca gegangen. Heute existiert es noch und die Bewertungen sprechen für sich.
A friend showed us this beautiful restaurant just outside of the busy town of San Antonio, in the middle of picturesque landscape.
Original Ibizan cuisine based on old family recipes, friendly service and a beautiful location make this restaurant something special.
Ein Freund zeigte uns dieses wunderschöne Restaurant etwas außerhalb der geschäftigen Stadt San Antonio inmitten einer malerischen Landschaft.

You can really taste that their dishes are based on old family recipes. Everything tastes very hearty and prepared with love.
Apart from the heavy meals we ordered, they also have fish.
Even though it´s already a few years back i still remember what we ordered.
1 x Iberian Pork with a apricot sauce, zucchini casserole, carrots and potatos
1 x Lamm shoulder with a thick brown sauce with pine nuts, zucchini casserole, carrots and potatos
and of course after such a heavy dinner and a bottle of white wine I ordered their Housemade Hierbas which is an aniseed liqueur macerated with various herbs.
Still one of the best dinners we ever had. If you´re in Ibiza don´t miss that restaurant cause you will regret it!
Man kann wirklich schmecken, dass ihre Gerichte auf alten Familienrezepten basieren. Alles schmeckt sehr herzhaft und mit Liebe zubereitet.
Abgesehen von den schweren Mahlzeiten, die wir bestellt haben, haben sie auch Fisch.
Auch wenn es schon ein paar Jahre her ist, erinnere ich mich noch an das, was wir bestellt haben.
1 x iberisches Schweinefleisch mit Aprikosensauce, Zucchini-Auflauf, Karotten und Kartoffeln
1 x Lammschulter mit einer dicken braunen Sauce mit Pinienkernen, Zucchini-Auflauf, Karotten und Kartoffeln
und natürlich bestellte ich nach einem so schweren Abendessen und einer Flasche Weißwein den Housemade Hierbas, einen mit verschiedenen Kräutern mazerierten Anislikör.
Immer noch eines der besten Abendessen, das wir je hatten. Wenn du auf Ibiza bist, solltest du dieses Restaurant nicht verpassen, denn du wirst es bereuen!
