Australia Food Guide - #25 Legend Pizza, Byron Bay
On saturday night we were craving for Pizza. It´s a while ago since we had a good Pizza and it was about time for Legend Pizza in Byron Bay again. We´ve been here before and were not disappointed.
Am Samstagabend sehnten wir uns nach Pizza. Es ist schon eine Weile her, dass wir eine gute Pizza hatten und es war wieder Zeit für Legend Pizza in Byron Bay. Wir waren schon einmal hier und wurden nicht enttäuscht.
Although they have two big tables outside and a few bar stools inside, it is more like a take away than a real restaurant. It is definitely not that kind of restaurant you choose for a valentines day or something like that. But this doesn´t mean that the Pizza isn´t good.
They have quite some interesting Pizza variations on their menu like a Tandori Chicken, a Olive Tapenade or the Potato Legend
Also worth to mention is, that you pay for the size of the Pizza and not the toppings. Means, if you want a medium sized Pizza you always pay 14,50 Dollar no matter what toppings you choose.
Obwohl sie draußen zwei große Tische und innen ein paar Barhocker haben, ist es eher ein Take Away als ein echtes Restaurant. Es ist definitiv nicht die Art von Restaurant, die man für einen Valentinstag oder so etwas ähnliches wählen würde. Das heißt aber nicht, dass die Pizza nicht gut ist.
Sie haben einige interessante Pizza-Variationen auf ihrer Speisekarte, wie ein Tandori-Chicken, eine Oliventapenade oder die Potato Legend
Erwähnenswert ist auch, dass man für die Größe der Pizza und nicht für die Beläge bezahlt. Das heißt, wenn man eine mittelgroße Pizza möchte, zahlt man immer 14,50 Dollar, egal welche Beläge man wählt.
We decided to order a New York Legend and a Italiano Legend. Both Pizza we ordered as a medium what isn´t that big but enough for one person. The Pizza has a thick crust and the taste is absolutely yummy.
Wir haben uns entschieden, eine New York Legend und eine Italiano Legend zu bestellen. Beide Pizza haben wir als Medium bestellt, was nicht so groß ist, aber genug für eine Person.

I would say it is definitely worth a try if you´re in Byron.
Die Pizza hat eine dicke Kruste und der Geschmack ist absolut lecker. Viel besser als die Dominos Pizza auf der anderen Straßenseite :)
Ich würde sagen, es ist definitiv einen Versuch wert, wenn man in Byron ist.

Die Pizza sieht aber ein wenig zu dunkel aus finde ich. Oder täuscht das?
Jetzt wo du es sagst...der Käse sieht ein wenig dunkel aus. Hat aber kein bisschen verbrannt geschmeckt, war echt super lecker.
