Stay Home Challenge - Phuket
Altough I´m not at home and still in Australia I would like to participate in this challenge.
Being here in Australia does not mean we´re making holiday. We´re effected by this virus in almost the same way we would be at home in germany. But I´m quite happy to be here and not at home. Anyway, we spend most of the time 'Home' in our apartment.
We actually had a flight from Brisbane to Phuket, Thailand at the end of may which got canceled like 99% of all other flights around the world. We were so looking forward to go back to Phuket as we´ve been there two times already and loved it. For this reason I´m going to share 3 photos of our last trip to Phuket.
Ko Man
Ko Man is a small uninhabited island only a stonethrow away from Nai Harn Beach in the south of Phuket. From the Phromtep Cape you´ll have a beautiful view on this island.
Kata Beach
Sunsets at Kata Beach are amazing and always worth a visit. On this day we ordered a pizza for take-away, bought some beers and enjoyed the beach until the last light.
Longtail Boat
If you want to explore some of the nearby islands, like the Coral Island Ko He for example, then there is no way around these boats. Just go to Rawai Beach in the very far south east of the island and negotiate a price with one of the boat owners. This is the best and cheapest way to explore the region.
