Kapıkırı - A leap back in time
Just yesterday we visited a small village called Kapıkırı, at the foot of the Latmos Mountains, which is located in the Turkish province of Muğla. The village lies amidst the ruins of ancient Herakleia, an ancient Greek city in western Asia Minor.
어제 우리는 터키의 Muğla 지방에 위치한 Latmos Mountains 기슭에있는 Kapıkırı라는 작은 마을을 방문했습니다. 이 마을은 소아시아 서부에있는 고대 그리스 도시인 고대 ** 헤라 클레이 아 **의 폐허 속에 자리 잡고 있습니다.
Only 293 residents live in this small village, which is partly due to the fact that no new buildings are allowed to be built here to protect the surrounding ruins.

Not only does the Latmos Mountains attract tourists and locals to this village every day, but also the fact that it is right next to Lake Bafa, an inland lake that emerged from an earlier inlet, the Latmian Gulf.

In addition to fishing, money is also made in this area from the cultivation of olives, which grow wild on every corner. At the moment the harvest season begins, which is why the trees are all full of ripe olives.

The village also has a small beach where camping is obviously allowed and a couple of small cafes where you can enjoy a delicious mocha and the view. Furthermore, some of these cafes offer hiking tours in the surrounding mountains.
마을에는 캠핑이 허용되는 작은 해변과 맛있는 모카와 전망을 즐길 수있는 작은 카페가 몇 군데 있습니다. 또한이 카페 중 일부는 주변 산에서 하이킹 투어를 제공합니다.
This small village is definitely worth a visit and if I had more time I would love to do a multi-day hike through the Latmos Mountains.
