Promote Dtube By Not Quitting Facebook!!!
Hello lovelies!
So today I talk to you about how to promote Dtube by not quitting Facebook. Of course everyone is excited to F*ck the Zuck. I am too! I want to dump him faster than an abusive ex. HOWEVER, think about this before you actually do it.
Chances are, if you are anything like myself, you have a history on Facebook, you have invested time, maybe even money into building something on there. Don't just throw it away! I am not saying this because I think it stands even one iota of a chance in the upcoming decentralized world, but more because we are not at that world yet, and why not use what we already have to promote the new things that we want!?!
I have started posting my Dtube links to my Facebook pages, and they have gone over really well. People like the Lady Steem character, people like the news, people keep asking me, "what is this dtube thing?" That is exactly what we need/want. We need promotion, Dtube and Steemit needs to be featured. If we want to get people over, they have to know someone there, it has to feel trustworthy and inviting. Using Facebook is a perfect way to do that.
Get everyone you know over here, and then we can all have a #DumpFacebook party together. Yet don't be shocked if that takes a few years. Not even MySpace was taken down overnight.

Facebook is currently filtering out anything blockchain related which includes decentralization, ICO's, etc. I reached my friend limit several years ago and have left nothing but a steady stream of Steemit links since last September and virtually every FB post is now down to zero likes or an occasional like or two.
Perhaps they haven't figured out dtube.com or dlive links yet, but they will soon enough. This will probably have to go grass roots to be successful.
I have been actually gaining some followers on my FB page with my links. Perhaps they will crack down, but I will ride the wave out as long as I can. It's much faster and more effective for me than to try to convince people individually. I think people also are interested when they click into my profile and see that I am actually earning money on these videos. Nothing sells Steemit and Dtube better than Steemit and Dtube itself.

Dtube videos are often very hard to stream. I am considering hosting my own videos soon so that should help their streaming capabilities. I love @udezee! He is one of my favorite people in the whole world! If you need help with anything, just let me know!! Nice to meet you! :)

Agreed. To early to delete, but continually posting from here to FB allows all my friends to see the articles they want w/o suckerberg. Steemit is for growth 2018, hopefully delete 2020

I like your position here; however, Facebook makes my head hurt.
I found Facebook a really useful tool for community organising, and I stuck with it when it became an advertising platform and even when they began manipulating algorithms. I'm done with it, and I couldn't be happier.
