Shedding the Tyranny of Control
Great things are done by a series of small things brought together
I am a lucky, blessed, fortuitous individual. My most recent blessing came by a friend who introduced me to @maxigan, an incredibly positive individual speaking on subjects that are close to my heart; individuals coming together to make the world a better place. He encourages us to remember that we are being taught to disagree and squabble amongst ourselves in order to let the 'powers that be' control us and our thoughts. Further, he encourages us to stand up for ourselves and LISTEN to each other! I've talked about this phenomena before, how readily we are to shout one another down and refuse to listen, all because we have been conditioned to be distrustful. He really clarified this thought for me and I can't thank him enough!

There are SO MANY THINGS WE CAN DO if we will shed the tyranny of control! I'm talking to my friends here on Steemit who debate with me about Geoengineering and chemtrials with fevor and anger and yet no real science to back up their claims that I'm wrong. There are so many things we can do if we just LISTEN to each other. I'm not trying to change your minds, I know better than to try to do that. My purpose here is to help you see that there are other concepts and ideas; that there are other opinions that matter. I'm also here to catch those on the verge of awakening and help them find truths I have been lucky enough to have found.
We are taught shame and ridicule when we think differently. I remember being a child full of hope and optimism, joy at every blooming flower and sweet smelling summer twilight. Over and over I was taught to put my head down and persevere, to allow others to control my thoughts and emotions. I'm so blessed to be finding my way back to where I always should have been!
Can you? I'm going to try!

I've been meaning to write a post really similar to this one. Looks like you beat me to it and probably a much better job it, might I add. Hehe. Nice take on it, Really! That is why this platform and others like it are so important because they allow us to support each other with positive influence.

Hmm, listen to each other. But other people are so stupid!
Just kidding Beth. We certainly would all get along better if we took the time to listen instead of bitching all the time. Listening is becoming a lost art I'm afraid to say. It's easier to try to shout someone down instead of having an actual discussion.
it's true, and I think it's important to realize how we are taught to squabble over nothing. I hate that idea. I like having fun too much to worry about squabbling!

Keeping us separate, frightened, upset and confused are a full-time job and us fighting with each other in the streets is a delicious goal of theirs. So we have no the time or energy to look at the people causing it all to start with.
Moving Millions of Muslims into non-Muslim Country's is a card being played as we speak. that is an shured AAAA hand to cause needed conflicts in our streets under the guise of Humanitarian reasons. But is their final hand if we stand together in learning about the attacks we suffer daily in so many areas of our lives. I wrote about it in my own untalented fashion, but it was meant to get a inteligent discussion going, not to put an end to it by my words alone.
