HEART OF DARKNESS is a novel written by Conrad. It is a novel expressing the inner meaning of men's heart. In its surface meaning it is a journey to find a man and the name of the man is Mr. kurtzs. But in inner meaning it is a journey to man's own heart. The novel also presents the role of imperialism.
