London Terror attack, no terror attack - according to London Police

London's Metropolitan Police don't treat the recent car ramming incident as a terrorist act.

An incident that involved a car ramming into pedestrians outside the Natural History Museum in London is not treated as a terror attack, London's Metropolitan Police said on Saturday.

"The incident in ExhibitionRoad SouthKensington earlier is not being treated as a terror-related incident. It is a road traffic collision,"

The incident took place at 2:20 p.m. (13:20 GMT) leaving several people injured. Police detained one person following the accident.

One person detained, however, police does not specify whether he was the driver of the car.

Following the ramming, the Natural History Museum, as well as South Kensington and Sloane Square tube stations, were evacuated, the Evening Standard newspaper reported. The stations were reportedly later.
