A few days ago i have decided to take a walk in a beautiful forest and try to test out a new portable flash light Quadralite Atlas 600 that i have recently acquired. It's one of a cheaper Polish makes if i remember correctly, but build quality is really good. I also do not in built TTL so got a cheaper version, which would work as a fill light if i like this piece of equipment and decide to buy another more advanced and more expensive version of it.
Long story short, i really enjoyed my walk a lot, but was disappointing for one fact a lot. Plastic litter in the forest. I can not even comprehend what dumb animal (sorry animals, it's actually people) one must be to leave all this plastic litter behind him in a forest. Unfortunately there still are people like that.

The setup was pretty simple. Beauty dish with a diffusion to get softer light, but the tripod i have is too high and will need to get another one that would allow getting my light lower to the subject, when mushroom season starts.
Since there was little mushrooms and greenery my main object was various stumps of old trees covered in green moss. You can see the whole set in my BeScouted profile.
It was a nice stroll in fresh air, where i had a chance to test out my new light, get some shots to share and cleanup the forest just a little bit too. If each of us would pick a piece or too we could counter actions of those dumb people.
I already can't wait for the mushroom season to begin!

Trash is such an eyesore, in addition to all it's other negative attributes - you'd have to not think about it at all to toss it on the ground, ie dumb. You managed to make it a positive with interesting pictures though :)
I just can't imagine how vacuum heads of such people should be. If i ever saw anybody do this i would beat shit out of them and make them eat it...
People that litter and eat those Lay's potato chips probably have strong digestive system. The bag might digest as well as the chips do. The plastic bottle though? That one won't go down well...

They will be scouting for mushrooms, for flowers, for pieces of fashion, for boyfriends etc. They will be scouting for everything :) We are starting presale with a good bonus next week.
