Portrait Contest: Week #15 - Anything goes #2

in #portraitcontest9 years ago

Some of you probably already know my love of taking portraits of Make Up artists that do make up for the models that i photograph.

This is Arisha To an amazing MUA that was preparing a model for one of my photoshoots and she has agreed to pose for a portrait after the main photoshoot was done.

My point being here that anyone can be a model and you should not be afraid to pose for a shot from time to time even though you do not consider yourself a model:)

In my head, I know that to be the truth, but, it can be intimidating putting it all out there for others to scrutinize. People can often be very unkind when it doesn't fit their mold of what you should look like.

Having said that, with a little bit of help and the magic of makeup, people don't have to be model beautiful (whatever that really means) to make a wonderfully interesting portrait.

Thank you for dispelling the myth.

Exactly, there must be understanding, and each person is beautiful in his own way. That's what i meant probably :)

That's exactly what I read. ;)

What you write is true. Anyone can be really photogenic. Guess we are have our angles and the ones that don't think they do can still discover that angle.

People can do amazing things, the one thing it wall needs is motivation and desire to do so :)

Nice image it has a creamy feeling somehow. The soft light is on point.

That might be a bit too soft for my own liking, as i like edgy shots more, but is is nice that it is noticeable and the looking i was going for in this one is visible.
