It is Castle Monday again!
This old ruin dates back to the year 1156. The castle was originally built on top of a wooded hill top with a long wooden bridge leading to the castle entrance. In the year 1954, a dam was built to generate electricity for the region, and the area around the castle was flooded.
The castle has seen many owners pass through and finally in the year 1804 after the last of them left the castle, it fell into ruin.
