What is your pet story

This is Daisy. She had to be put down in a couple of months ago. She was my brothers dog, and after inviting us over for dinner one day, he announced to us they would be taking her to the pound (They had two litle boys, and she was 15 months old at the time and very energetic). Halfway to back to our house, I turned to my hubby and begged him to go back and get her we discussed it for a couple of miles and turned around. She lived to be a ripe 12 years old. She was the official welcome wagon at our home and defender of the weak, any new pet we had would migrate to her and bond, including the kittens.
