I get what you mean and somewhat agree in the short term. Right now the big steem power users are able to essentially control in some form of capacity, what content is to be seen in the front page. As long as the content hits their interest and is "subjectively" a good post, then yes I would agree that post could be thrown up whilst the same user, missing out on other content. That would lead me to believe the content they want to see up is content they want up rather than really good content but isn't that again subjective. That's the crap thing. Even if the content is amazing, if we don't care for the subject of the content, we're not going to upvote it.
I agree! But, and this is a big but, overtime when more and more people will accumulate Steem Power, there will be more people who can influence posts.
Basically what I am trying to say is that, as time passes, the Steem Power will spread and more people will be there to curate content as opposed to the whales currently. This will lead to blogs getting the attention that they deserve.
You are absolutely right, and this needs to be addressed before it gets out of control. I'm sure they will. The Steemit developers have been very responsive thus far.
Everybody is testing platform so everbody jump on voting boat after whale. I saw multiple people whose voting pover is 30-40% becasue the spam upvote whole day. You post is on good track but I believe that one first must learn how thing work and then go forward. If this amount of spam in blogs and upvotes keep going on whales have hard time finding good content and must resort to upvote on recommendation more than good content being curated by minons.
