Thank you!...leadership is the most valuable gift a person can have. Respect and humility...very significant issues involved in leadership, are difficult. The main things missing in police leadership are the ability to not take the position of judge, jury, and executioner all at once as a result of their lack of control over their fight or flight mechanism. Ascessing a dangerous situation needs the calm as well as the acuity. The BALANCE is where the training goes awry. Dominance over a perpetrator is more for public afety than it should be to give officers a chance to vent their sense of dominance
