in WORLD OF XPILARlast year

Hello the fellow people of Steemit i hope all of you are in good hands.

The last two weeks we’ve explored Rome which was in two parts, today i was thinking to announce to you that there’s going to be another place with two parts, because i have so much photos, so much memories and so much to tell, but instead of splitting the place we are gonna explore i took the best photos from my library and maybe i can tell my other stories and share the photos by the dairy game.

So what you are going to explore is the capital of the world, well it was like a 100 years ago, but still has it’s charm.

Firstly some backstory so i have friends that study there and were begging me to come, and i finally went there, because my girlfriend also begged me. For the record I wasn’t the most motivated person to fly there, because it’s England after all, the food is fake if i can express it that way, the weather is depressing and the crime nowadays is through the roof.

Well to be honest i was quite impressed by this city, if you are not an idiot you do just fine, the rumour about the crime is true, but if you are not an idiot you are fairly safe so to speak. Anyway it was quite the adventure there, because we had a problem with the Airbnb’s because the Airbnb’s with the good places and neighbourhoods were booked till specific dates and we had to move from one to another one, we’ve even slept in the apartments to some friends.

Let’s move on, so London a beautiful metropolis, with big glass illuminated buildings, having a CCTV on every corner, yeah it sounds very fun for a tourist like me. There’s this vibe with the city where you meet modern buildings with old architecture which is a strange, but very enjoyable mix and there’s this vibe where if you go to the park for some air you feel very extravagant, very english, because the greenery all the bushes and trees are shaped and well maintained. You feel like you are in a big courtyard.

To recreate the contrast i will share the greenery first and then the glassery. So I don’t remember exactly what this park was called i think it was St. James park, which is this huge park with a landmark called the Royal Naval College. The architecture of this big i can say campus is beautiful and i like the huge park full of people, on the last picture you are going to see we went for the typical clichè picnic. Just to note the 5th picture i really don't remember that this park is called, but it is not from the same park. It’s just this is what i like about this city it has so much greenery and parks it contrasts on the city itself.

Before going on to the next topic i almost forgot about the wildlife, I don’t know any other word to put, but I can’t publish this post without some ducks wandering around in the lake. This time i know that this park is called, it was Hyde Park, which is in the centre of London which is a huge attraction, for me it wasn’t that much, but my girlfriend gawked at them like it was the 9th wonder of the world. Hehe😁

Okay here comes the part where i talk about the actual city. London is way bigger than I imagined it to be and there are a lot more business buildings, by this i mean more of these huge glass illuminated buildings.

I would like to say i love how the thames in London float around the city, it’s very english if i could put it that way with this long river around the river it kinda reminds me of Paris, but in English way.

Can London be exciting? Yeah! Can London be exciting and ridiculously expensive? Oh Yeah!

Well i know I’ve said that the food is fake, it’s not fake when you go to these expensive places to eat. Yeah i know why would i eat in these restaurants, well i can definitely say that these places are worth the money, forget the food, these places with these beautiful views with aristocratic interiors just makes you forget they ate your wallet. The first picture is a place called “Gaucho Grill” if I remember correctly and i don’t even remember what i ate i just stared at the view. On the second picture sorry to disappoint I don’t remember the place, but i remember that it was beautiful.

I think we are gonna end here, i was thinking of telling you about the Chinatown in London, or was it called that way I don’t remember, but i have beautiful photos of it. So I don’t want to split this post in half so I’m gonna keep telling these stories and experiences under the form of the dairy game.

That’s all of today I’m gonna end the post like a boss saving the best for last showing you the Big Ben shot in a Sherlock Holmes way.

Thanks, great story. I'm actually attracted to London, probably because of its history. However, so far I have not had the opportunity to visit this city.

You had a very cool trip, a wonderful picnic, you visited a restaurant with a very beautiful view from the window. I'm sure there is delicious food :)

Thank you for sharing your impressions. I'm sure many people will be interested in reading your post.

Hey many thanks for the response, i will be glad if people are interested in reading it. One tip when you go there, dont walk around in the park after noon. You know what i mean. It’s actually great there i have a little bit more material which i can share, but i think it’s better to share it as a “daybook” or a “diary game” because It’s a story basically and i dont want to “milk” my travel posts into parts, because the readers already for example have seen Rome in two parts and I don’t think it’s very original to milk it, maybe if it’s good. Thank you so much again for the feedback 😅 ❤️
