Capri - The Island of Azure Waters | Exploring the Southern Italian Coast | Wox Travel Contest | Week 21
Greetings the fellow people of Steemit and the WOX community i hope all of you had a marvellous day!
Today I’m gonna bring to you some of my casual formula as always that comes with the Italian theme.
This time we are gonna explore some of the Southern Italian coast together and i hope to bring some joy to your eyes, because this story is going to feel more “alive” because my content consists more of gifs than photos. That’s because back in the day I didn’t take much photos and had taken videos mostly. Anyway let’s start.
We are beginning with the island of Capri and for those of you who don’t know much about it Capri is basically an island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea, which is also a part of the Mediterranean Sea. It is situated on the western coast of Italy and is known for its picturesque landscapes, natural beauty, and jaw dropping caves. I still remember the very very blue seascapes this Island offers, it was basically a food for your eyes and it was bringing some warm vibes, maybe because it was a family trip.
To imagine it more, because i have very few seascapes Capri consists of cliffs, rocky coves and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Not to bore you with too much info the first two gifs which is a whole video, because i had to split in two gifs, because the file was too large is us sitting at a restaurant which is literally on a rock beach formation which was more amazing in person, trust me. I definitely was catching tan on this rock beach i had to, I’ve never been to a beach looking like this filled with stones all over it felt like something natural and vice versa, because you know you are used to having a beach with sand.
Anyway, because of what I’m describing you was a whole day, after the restaurant we went to explore some of the natural landmarks of Capri going under the name of The Faraglioni rocks which are three iconic rock formations that rise dramatically from the sea along the southern coast of Capri. They are a symbol of the island and a popular spot for boat tours and photographs and of course i took some material with me why wouldn’t it just look at it. 📷 😄
After that we went with the boats to this different coast called the Amalfi Coast in which is the village called Positano. I’m gonna tell you this coast is something out of this world the panoramic view from it brings you some divine vibes.
Anyway the interesting thing is that this place is more popular for its seafood than its views and that was very weird for me, because this village has so many colourful cliffside buildings that cascade down to the Mediterranean sea and people come for food here. Anyway of course we went for food and i can honestly say it’s true the seafood and the cuisine overall was top notch. I have some food photoshoot to show you how good the food looks.
Here comes the last part of our exploration and its the village itself. I can say that the streets are charming. It’s just that walking on these narrow streets and staircases has its own charm. It’s full of hidden alleys and small squares and the people doing their activities throughout the day makes the place feel more atmospheric and full.
Okay guys that was for today i hope you liked the story i shared with you. I would feel very satisfied if I receive some feedback from you! See ya! 👋🏻😄

Thank you :)
Thanks for showing us another great vacation spot. The views are truly incredible. And a stony beach is not as strange for me as it is for you, since we have many beaches in Ukraine on the Black Sea coast, which are not covered with sand, but with small pebbles.
Your decision to embed gifs is very original and maybe gives even more information than photos. I liked it.
Thanks for the feedback! Well on our part of the Black Sea we still have the same thing with pebbles, white and black sand all sorts of stuff, but still beaching on rocks next to the sea seemed kinda unnatural to me. About the gifs it took lots of patience to create them, because i had to split a 5 second video just to fit them on the post which was very annoying, but still im glad you liked it. 😅
Many thanks! I appreciate it! 😄
