Movies That You Watch Over and Over Again: The Housemaid (Korean Movie)

I have this sick habit when it comes to movies or even in books and in real life where I try to pyschoanalyze things, this is also one of the reason why it is so hard for me to get over some movies cause it provokes me to the core.I tend to think about things in depth, This is also the reason why its better for me to watch at home than to watch on the cinema, I will be able to pause it when the scene is too much to bear or when an idea came to me.

This movie left me with a lot of questions and a lot of realizations in real life. The name of the movie is the housemaid, its a Korean movie where the lead actor in the series Squid Games played as the rich family man who had an affair with the naive haousemaid.

It is hard to take side from both of the women involved cause both has their own mistakes.I was thinking that the man is root of it all but as what the adult used to say, It takes two to tango so the maid allowed his master.I just dont understand why does a mistake needs to be solved by another mistake.Humans do claim that we are smart and has a higher intelligence when in reality we are a slave to our own emotions and call of flesh.Not all the time but most of the time.

Lust, Hedonism without thinking about its consequences. Status, insecurity and selfishness overtook the wife but the mid is selfish too, why does she need to do that in front of the kid.When you can see that the kid has an empathy for her, the mistake of the parents doesn't mean she has to add the kid to the whole situation.I still think about the ending, what is she thinking about? Even I can still decipher.

I dont want to say too much because I dont want to spoil, I want to preserve the mystery of the whole thing as the person take the roller coaster ride of seemingly solemn calm stroy with full of loop holes to the human pysche.

I watched it agaian and again whenever an idea popped in my mind of why the character in the story did his/her own decisions.Its the kind of story that stays at the back of you mind, hanging there, giving you a lot of questions. Whenever I came a cross a true to life story that has a relation to it, I quickly tried to watch the movie for me to further understand it.

These are also the OST of the movie, it really suits the movie in a way that brings all the boiling emotions even without watching the movie.The whole thing is worth the risk cause I was brought up in a conservative way though isnt it also a risk not to understand this cause it does happen in real life.Thats the best that I can do, to undestarnd. I hope you give the movie a try its worth watching more than once.

Tell: Is "favorite movie" and "movie that I will watch and watch" the same thing?
Answer: I think for me its a yes and no.Its problematic because when we watch we also want to be challenged and to open our perspective to a lot of things and sometimes we need to watch it over and over again for us appreciate it but that doesnt mean that it will end up as a favorite.
