My Baby Markus is Limping
Markus probably got his paws stuck in his cage or he probably jumped and landed badly because today he is limping. It might hurt really bad because I could hear him crying. I have pet dogs since I can remember, I know when a dog is in pain, because they cry. I kept caressing him to make him calm and he did but when I try to touch his paws he goes on with the crying. He also walks in a weird way, he is limping. I'm giving him rest inside the house, away from his cage at the moment so he feels so loved. No dogwalks for now, no playing and learning tricks, he needs to recover.
I might get him to the vet if he does not improve in 3 days. I don't see any cuts and I don't feel any broken bone either. I will need to observe. He has stopped crying this morning. He is behaving well and resting like the way he is in the picture. I treat Markus like family and my own child so this is a worrying state for me. He is been a loyal companion for 3 years and I want him to live more years as much as possible because I love him so much. I can't even stand to be away in a day, it gives me separation anxiety. That's how much I love this dog.

Please also check the inner side of his paws...baka may tinik or small pebble that stuck in it. Minsan nakaka inflamed yan..
I had a big Rottweiler named Ako.. we never put him in a cage unless we travelled by plane anywhere...he was 14 years old when we put him to sleep forever.. He had a hip displacie, a common disease on big dogs where the rear legs are stressed that they couldn't stand nor walk .. he weighed 60 kgs.. he was my stress reliever.. when I was bedridden one time because of high fever ..he jumped on my bed and laid beside me until I slept.. nowadays, we have Lily, the chihuahua princess of mom in-law.. she's been with us since her death 3 years ago.

I've lost my Rhodesian Ridgeback due to heat stroke 5 years ago, I'm also lost until now can't move on with that big doggo, it's better to lost a girlfriend than a lovely pet dog.
