A raspberry seed, most likely passed in the droppings of a bird has taken root and growing in an old, sadly dead cherry tree. It's even fruiting. How cool is that.

What luck! That's really neat. Is it okay in this spot or will you need to transplant it?
I'm not sure I guess ideally we should move it but it will be interesting to see how it does. The tree sadly needs to be cut down at some stage , so we will more than likely transplant it then.
It seems to like where it is. Maybe carefully cut down the cherry around it and just leave it to replace the cherry? I'd hate for you to lose it. It's your very own miracle raspberry! Haha!
