Review time: The Midnight Sky 🎬
Review time: The Midnight Sky
This review is about a movie that I saw some days ago and It really made me think about what we are doing t our Earth.
Before begin, I'd like to make a comment, and it's that despite have always been movies related to Climate, and Earth destruction, I feel like a lot more are showing at this time. Or maybe Netflix just knows what I'm looking for and show me this thing, lol.
Because I've seen TV shows and movies that talk about nature, and I think: Wow! We are on the way to wake up and start taking care of the Earth.
Well... I'll stop my bla bla moment, I was just "thinking up loud", but writing, lol.
The movie is:
The Midnight Sky
This film is about a time when the planet earth has been almost completely destroyed and people have had to be removed from it because its characteristics no longer allow the life of human beings to be possible.
But the movie is not about how those people live, but the thing is that an old man, who is a very well-known professor and scientist and he has a terminal illness, stays on Earth to monitor and help a spacecraft that is being driven by others scientists, who are going to return to Earth, but this is so unhabitable, that Augustine, the professor, is trying to connect them to warn about the risks that it implies to return.
The thing is that this man found a little girl there in the station wherein he is, lost, forgotten there, and very scared. So he tries his best to contact the spacecraft to find a solution. As there is no way to solve it, he needs to travel to another station.

The trip there was extremely dangerous, and he goes with the girl, risking their lives, but with the certainty that he will arrive, to be able to make contact with the ship and report this situation.
But it turns out that this little girl he meets represents much more to his life than he thinks. You won't find out about this until the end of the movie. I don't want to spoil the movie. So I'll stop here.
Of course, I really liked it!! I mean, is not like it'll become my favorite film now, but I enjoyed watching it.
